You two were always with Beautiful smiles throughout High School...always had a joke between you, I think. You will miss your brother, Bob, but Boy he will flood your mind so much...he is Always with you, Always in such a Beautiful way,.. that’s the wonder of it all. Blessings to you always, Maria
Although many in our class knew the Berkefeld twins, I was closer to Dickie for some reason. So sorry for your loss Bob. I can't imagine losing your twin and am sending prayers your way Bob. Know that there are many who loved Dick.
A very Sad day for sure Bob. I'll always remember the great times we had growing up in Montvale expecially with our Akers Avenue Friends and beyond into HS. He was a happy go lucky part of the team from the start. I'm sure he'll continue taking GOD's stage till we're all united again. I will add Dickie to my prayer bucket. GodBless All! Loved you guys John Barcelona
Such sad news. I offer my sincere condolences to Bob and his family. Dick and I communicated briefly about his video posted after our last reunion. He couldn't attend the reunion, but seemed to feel so connected to the class that he made a wonderful video. We spoke of various memories, mainly focused on cars. He said he fondly remembered a '55 Chevy he owned, similar to one in the video. It was a delightful exchange, and I got a sense of what a loving, connected person he was. So difficult to know he is gone.
Bob, although we traveled in different circles at PVHS 1965, I remember you and your brother well. I am so sorry for your loss. While your family chain has been broken here, it will be reconnected one day in Heaven where you'll spend eternity together. God bless. Dave Norling
My thoughts are wilth you, Bob. So sad to lose a brother. I remember one year, I think it was in 10th, I didn't have anyone that I wanted to ask to the Sadie Hawkins Dance and Dick said that no one had ask him, so we went together and had the best time. He was a good guy.
Thanks to everyone for their condolences and kind words regarding Dick’s passing. I will truly miss him and know will meet him again. Again, thanks to you all for your comments.
So sorry to hear about your brother Bob. You guys used to crack me up!! Since I am an only child, I can't imagine what it's like to experience the loss of a brother, especially a twin brother. My condolences.
