I was shocked and saddened to learn of Kip's passing.  We were best friends from George White through PV, and he pitched our Babe Ruth baseball team to a 1963 championship after we suffered through two dismal seasons.    Kip stopped at the George White ballfield when I was playing a game last July, and we got to talk between innings.   He told me of health issues he was dealing with, but he brushed them off as he did with many concerns.  He looked exactly like the picture on the right in this notice, and that's the way I'll always remember him.   Via con dios, KGD...

In eigth grade Kip, myself and a guy named Charlie Adrian, who went on to play big

time college basketball at Georgetown were the three man team champs at Ostrowski's

Saturday games at George G. White. Two parochial school guys and KIp...Will always

remember him saying.." Get it to the big guy!"

He is with God playing one on one.....

My dad loved Kip and spoke of him and his other Hillsdale friends often. Kip made sure to make his way to my dad’s service 2 years ago and I got to meet him and was glad I did. I’m sorry and surprised to hear of his passing. God bless him and his family.

Kip was a great guy and a good friend. We had some great times together, especially during the Junior and Senior years with myself, Bob Wain and many others. There wasn't many times after school hours that Kip and many of us were not together planning something fun, or at one of our classic sand-lot football games. Didn't seen him much after high school and I'm sorry we lost touch. Had a great conversation with Kip at Bob Wain's Memorial shortly after our 50th reunion, he sounded great, looked great, and seemed in good health with a good career all these years. You just don't know when our time is up, a time to join our creator. I'll always treasure the memories we had together.,,,,,,,,George
