Drafted in the Army in 1967, served in Vietnam for 14 months, traveled Europe 1970-71, Moved West in 1971 living in Idaho, Nevada, Washington and now retired back in Idaho. I've been a General Contractor since moving West, most of those years self employed. I also owned and operated a guest ranch in the wilderness of Idaho for 15 years as an outfitter and guide from 1977-92. The last fifteen years a successful Contractor in Western Washington before retiring a couple of years ago here in Idaho.
Now, survived the forest fires, saved our home, only one of nine homes left of about thirty in our area. Guided by God that saved us.

School Story:

I survived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is the most interesting thing you have done since high school?

I followed one of my passions in life by following the Lewis and Clark trail for two plus years during the Bicentenial from 2004-2006. I was part of the Discovery Expedition of St. Charles as a reenactor, portyaying George Drouillard, one of the most important members of the expedition. Following on the trail East to West and then West to East as close to the same schedule as the original expedition as possible ending in Monticello in November 2006. This was one the most rewarding times in my life, not just because I was on the trail on horseback, in dugout canoes, hiking and re-living the Lewis and Clark story but also because I joined my fellow reenactors teaching the Lewis and Clark story to over 500,000 kids along the way. And most importantly met the true love of my life on the trail, a beautiful Chippewa-Cree lady who was portraying Sacagawea on the trail. We are now married living on the trail in Idaho and spending our winters in Wickenburg, Arizona.

Happy Birthday Bob, Hope all is well, staying healthy and safe. Recently returned from Hillsdale for my Aunt's funeral, last of my parents family we grew up with. A lot of changes since I left, hardly recognize the area. Take care my friend, hope to see you someday soon.

Hard to believe Greg has left us, he was in great spirits at the 50th reunion and seem to be in great health. A great guy  growing up together in Hillsdale. We were on the same Little League Team together, both of us made the All Star Team and contiued our friendship in High School. Always polite and friendly and always considerate of others around him. I thank him for serving our Country as many of us in our class did, especially during an unpopular time. May he rest in peace, and may God be with his family and friends. We are all better for knowing Greg.

Kip was a great guy and a good friend. We had some great times together, especially during the Junior and Senior years with myself, Bob Wain and many others. There wasn't many times after school hours that Kip and many of us were not together planning something fun, or at one of our classic sand-lot football games. Didn't seen him much after high school and I'm sorry we lost touch. Had a great conversation with Kip at Bob Wain's Memorial shortly after our 50th reunion, he sounded great, looked great, and seemed in good health with a good career all these years. You just don't know when our time is up, a time to join our creator. I'll always treasure the memories we had together.,,,,,,,,George

May God Bless You, Jeanne. You were an inspiration to us all, especially to all those who were suffering from cancer. We were friends since 1954, living in a great neiborhood of many long time friends. She always had a smile on her face, smiled at our first communion together, smiled at St John the Baptist graduation and  always smiled  battling cancer for nearly 25 years. She always had a positive additude about the future even when we knew she was suffering within. We will miss you Jeanne, you are in God's hands now.
