So sad to see this. When I transferred to PVHS the beginning of my junior year, Jeanne immediately became a friend. We laughed through all our business classes and had a really good time.

So sad, Jeanne sat next to me at St. John the Baptist Grammar School in Hillsdale.  A very sweet person.  Rest in Peace Jeanne.

Jeanne was the cousin of one of my sister's closest friends. I remember visiting her with another classmate while she was recovering from one of her many surgeries. She was bright, cheerful and full of laugther although she must have been in a lot of pain. How I wish that she could have joined us for our stroll downtown. She had an indomitable spirit  which was truly a lesson for all of us. Rest in God's arms you beautiful sweet girl.

I remember Jeannie as a very sweet person, who always had an endearing  smile and kind word. Reading her obituary in the Record saddened me, but I know she is in a place where there is no more pain and suffering. Rest in peace, Jeannie.

May God Bless You, Jeanne. You were an inspiration to us all, especially to all those who were suffering from cancer. We were friends since 1954, living in a great neiborhood of many long time friends. She always had a smile on her face, smiled at our first communion together, smiled at St John the Baptist graduation and  always smiled  battling cancer for nearly 25 years. She always had a positive additude about the future even when we knew she was suffering within. We will miss you Jeanne, you are in God's hands now.

Remembering you Jeanne from Mr Kaminsky's English class.  You were recovering from a spinal operation.

The class was able to communicate with you through an intercom system connecting where you were recuperating with the school.

I Loved talking to you and I Loved how Mr Kaminsky would make you laugh.

When I finally met you in person,I was not surprised at what a little beauty you were, inside and out.

I always admired you for your bravery and positive attitude.

I will be thinking of you with that lovely smile on your face and I am sure a halo above your head.

God Bless

The Mass and Services for Jeanne were moving and well done in the same way she lived her life, with dignity and inspriation.

Jeanne and my brother Patrick were married for 48 years.  Pat graduated in 1964 from PVHS.

Pat and Jeanne lived in Albany, NY before moving to Phoenix area.  She was a Facebook regular for my daughters and my Grandchildren as a way to keep in touch.

Jeanne became the first female member of the Higgins family since Pat and Jeanne were the first to get married into a family of 6 brothers. She became my Mom's favorite and introduced us to some new ways to approach life.

We will miss Jeanne but never forget her courage and strength.  Bless you Jeanne.

Bill - please give Pat and your entire family our deepest regards and sympathy from the class of 1965.  Jeanne was loved and admired by so many of us and I hope you will share some of these comments with Pat.
